The first Indi Go Gaming Hands

not much to say about this, it's good though.
we have 3 people here today.
the first two are very short but the third is a true gamer.
hopefully, this draws in a crowd the same way the show did!

I'm working on it!

my life is keeping me super busy right now, and unfortunately, it comes first.
I have 3 1/2 hours of video from the show to sift through, and I just haven't had time
I will definitely have time by next saturday--maybe earlier, maybe not.
sorry, I'm trying!

The coming show....

Here it comes.
the big day.
the big show.

As you know, this is a last-ditch effort to save the gaming hands. If this doesn't draw anyone in, I can't afford any more of my time on this. If the art show doesn't raise any interest, I'm going to have to let go of it.
Here's what I will be putting on for this.
I will have a playable level of LittleBigPlanet 2 set up, with a webcam recording peoples hands.
the level, which I made myself just for this (and actually ends in the gallery, which I am fairly proud of) can be seen here:
If you have LBP2, log into your PSN and add it to your que, maybe we can build up some interest that way. My computer will be there, playing the current 'sets of data' on loop.
I will have an artist statement, with everything needed to hopefully get people interested in keeping up with it, or even submitting there own.
I will also have business card like things for people to take to save the info on GHAE

the show is march 4th
I'll probably post the first video on the 6th.
I'm incredibly busy, otherwise this post would be better.
I'll keep you informed as well as I can.

Ha! You thought we were dead!

Still no new hands... It's not like I'm not trying, I've milked family and friends a lot for videos, but that can't be my only resource.
like I have said before, the life of this experiment depends on the input of fans.
so far, fans of GHAE are as real as unicorns or good puns--that is to say (spoiler alert), they aren't real--or at least have not shown any evidence of it. every video has been a friend, family member, or me.
If you are reading this, and haven't been on here (all, what is it, six of you?) please, act now, forget the rules... just video of hands playing a video game, thats all I need--even a control video would be great...
if I don't get anything soon, well, then I'm gonna have to say this is officially dead.
I hoped I'd never have to type those words.
on this side of reality, I am going to make one last ditch effort to save this project.
I scored a gallery show in champaign Illinois at the Indi Go gallery ( http://www.indi-go-art.com/ ) where I will have some of my stuff displayed, alongside another more famous (and probably better) artist.
I'll give more details later on, but suffice to say early March, We will have an opening reception, at which I will have a booth of sorts set up, where people can sit down and play a game, as long as they let their hands be recorded... I don't know what game yet, just that there will be one. Hopefully, this will get some support going.

If not... well, then I'll be sure to post an eloquent fairwell to GHAE...

If this does happen, I will open up all restrictions I have on my videos, and remove any creative commons licensing on them.

I would only ask that you treat them with respect, and give me just a little credit...
maybe someone else can find a home for this where it will thrive

BUT THAT DAY IS NOT HERE YET...

still looking for a hand,
Quinn K.
