some good news.

Things are beginning to pick up! no, not much, but I have a few things lined up.
I have prepared a control video, which I will share next time we don't have a video, and a couple of set's of 'data' have been lined up.

but the big news I'm posting about right now, is that we are now available in iTunes as a free video podcast! check it out in the link below. If you don't have iTunes, you're kidding yourself, go download it now.
if you don't know what iTunes is, you've probably been in a coma for nearly a decade at least, so welcome back, and find someone to talk to, there are a lot things that have changed.
I'm in the process of uploading versions of my past videos so that they will work on iTunes. some of them are fairly large in iTunes's required formats.

anyway, here is the link to my podcast:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-gaming-hands-art-experiment/id398908915

and if you WERE in a coma, they also have these things called iPods, iPads, and iPhones that people watch these podcasts on. Personally, I use phones running Android software (pretty futuristic, huh?), but these are pretty famous. check them out at Amazon with my links below.

Gaming hands experiment presents

Gaming hands experiment presents...
a formal duel to the death!

in leiu of new 'data', I threw together a little 'one act' ad sort of thing that I might use for any (warning, daydreaming ahead) sort of advertising that might come along

I'll be posting this all over the place, hope you like it! if you do, and want to star in our next set of data, drop me an email, as shown in the about section below this blog.

a dry spell...

well, in reality the entire life of the experiment has been in a dry spell.
I just wanted to make sure people knew we were still around (all 4 views I got last week)
I'm hoping I have a couple of videos on the way
I'm currently working on an ad through animoto.com that might boost us (fingers crossed)
in the meantime, look at these games, they might be worth a try.

inFamous Gameplay: mandrew72 (hands)

We're trying a couple things new here:

  • we are now allowing conversation during collection of 'data' (videos) to keep more engaging, and easier to make              [this also means you get to hear me,  sorry, I'm not the most pleasing voice...]
  • we will also be collecting 'control' videos, to compare against people playing games. these are simply hands doing other tasks (mechanical, artistic, menial, just not gaming)
